Reckong Peo, the dazzling HQ of Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh is an energetic town that leaves the travellers revived after a long drive from Rampur. Located at a height of 2,300 meters, this town is renowned for its conventional architecture, distinctive culture, and rambling apple plantations, on account of the mellow weather consistently throughout summers.

The peak of Kinnaur Kailash is viewed as one of the “Shivalingas” of Lord Shiva which is a 79 feet high holy rock formation visited by many pilgrims of India by trek. The trek route is treacherous and takes around 4-5 days to reach this holy mountain peak.
